Health Assessments

Each service begins with an initial health assessment.  We will discuss your past and current habits.  These typically include dietary, exercise, sleep, and stress management patterns.  Behavior is a large component of your decision making. You will be asked to answer 14 questions which will enable me to get a sense of your commitment and assist in setting goals.  The second step is a full introduction of the program, an explanation of the science of blood sugar stabilization, optimal exercise movements, and most importantly, how to tailor it to your goals and lifestyle.  Programs are offered for short-term coaching and long-term goal achievement.

One-on-One Nutrition Consulting

Coaching sessions follow the initial health assessment. We will further assess your areas of struggle, your daily habits, and use a “hands-on” approach to create a step-by-step plan that is conducive to your lifestyle. We will work together to create personal, realistic, and attainable goals and form a deeper understanding of how nutrition plays a key role in balancing all the systems of the body. I work one-on-one with singles, parents, children, and career driven individuals who are striving to achieve both optimal health and balance in their lives. You will receive the tools to achieve your goals and the results will be permanent. The ultimate goal is to make one change at a time to achieve “health for a lifetime”.

Education at the Supermarket

Education at the Supermarket provides knowledge that, as a consumer, you must be aware of to make healthy and educated choices.  Together, we will look at nutrition labels, ingredient lists, and learn how to avoid enticing product advertisements. You will learn when and why you have the most or least successful shopping trips.  Once you know the secrets, you can reap the benefits.

Pantry Overhaul

Together we will take a look at the current status of your pantry, determine the positive and negative elements, and discuss the appropriate next steps. I will provide suggestions to help build upon your strengths, current nutritional staples and tastes, and give direction on how to make wise choices in the future.
